Sometimes we think, “oh, that is being too dramatic”, or someone is just saying that to be “overly dramatic”. Well, at the risk of sounding overly dramatic, children are literally freezing to death in the refugee camps, and it is only going to get colder and worse weather before the spring comes. Children don’t have warm enough clothing – they left their homes in the summer thinking they would not be gone for too long and would be able to go home before bad weather set in. Now, as winter is really setting in, some are still wearing sandals on their feet – without socks.
